Beauty || Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette Review
You know how I said I love finding a bargain in TkMaxx? Well when I wondered in a little while back I well and truly lucked out and found a whole heap of Too Faced goodies including a few of the Colour Bomb lipsticks and this gorgeous Sugar Pop eyeshadow palette. Normally, Too Faced’s Sugar Pop palette retails at £32.00 so finding it for £9.99 less than a third of the RRP seemed an absolute steal. Much like their Boudoir Eyes palette, inside it’s gorgeous macaron decorated tin, Sugar Pop contains three looks that it claims can be created in three minutes each with a sugary sweet theme; “Sweet & Spicy” a more tame combination of browns with a copper pop, “Sugar Plums” a smokey violet look and “Candy Coated” the bravest of the bunch with bubblegum pink and blues.

Top – Sweet & Spicy: Rock Candy, Macaron, Malted Milk Ball.
Middle – Sugar Plums: Strawberry Ice, Sugared Violet, Blackberry.
Bottom – Candy Coated: Peach Fuzz, Bubblegum, Blue Raspberry

As usual with Too Faced, the quality of the eye shadows are fabulous, but because of the bold colours it’s not recommended to use this without a base or primer. With colours this bright you want to give them the best possible chance of staying in place and blending to create your desired look. Beauty || Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette ReviewAlthough I love the concept behind this palette and I think the colours are gorgeous, this isn’t one that I feel I will be getting a great amount of use out of. The looks, minus Sweet & Spicy are a quite a bit bolder and brighter than I normally choice to wear. However, I have had great fun experimenting with this and I’m glad I added it to my collection. With Spring rapidly approaching, I am trying to add a little more colour back into my routine so I feel this may come in handy.

Have you tried Too Faced’s Sugar Pop Palette? If not, what bargains have you picked up from TKMax recently?

I think TkMaxx is equivalent to Winners here in Canada and I never seems to score something as brilliant as Too Faced products there! Regardless, I don't think this would be a palette that I will purchase because I don't wear any of the shades. Great review, Fran!

I worried they'd be a little too bold, but for the price I feel it's worth it to experiment πŸ™‚ xx

I never used to in TKMaxx, I used to hate the place. However, saw a few bloggers showing what they scored and had a look and seem to have been pretty lucky πŸ˜€

I never find bargains as good as these in my Tk Maxx, think I need to go further afield!
