As I mentioned on my London Treats post a few weeks back, Columbia Road Flower Market is one of the only things that can make me want to get up early on a Sunday morning. It is situated in the East End near Brick Lane and Spitalfields and on every Sunday between 8am and 3pm. Although going early is advised if you want to get the pick of the plants and flowers on offer, lots of stalls were almost sold out by around 1pm!
The smells were absolutely divine and I ended up buying a few bunches to brighten up the flat even though I didn’t really need to..
Although getting to the other end of London first thing in the morning might be a bit of a trek for me, it is well worth the journey and the perfect way to get some fresh air after Saturday night..
Have you been to Columbia Road Market before? What did you think?
Oh wow these look lovely
I actually didn't know that cactus can grow flowers so thanks for that!
