Blogging Aims & Goals for 2016
As you might have noticed FrannyMac.com has had a bit of a makeover ready for the new year. After trying and failing to code my own responsive layout over the last few days (which is why, apart from getting back to work I’ve been a little quiet on here). Thankfully, I came to my senses and enlisted the help of PipDig, I downloaded one of their templates and was ready to go in a matter of minutes.

To get an idea of where I wanted to focus this year, I looked at my 5 favourite posts of 2015;

So, a fairly sporadic mix of posts that I’m happy with so let me narrow down what you’ll be seeing more of on my corner of the internet over the next 12 months. Hopefully with new posts 3 to 4 times a week.

Budget beauty picks that aren’t always dupes. More things that will make your life easier without breaking the bank like brush cleaners, high quality drug store bits and for once even pieces that may be worth avoiding. Along side this, more luxury beauty products, but not necessarily cult favourites.

A lot more things to do in London, I am planning on making even more of the city in 2016 and hopefully will showcase the best of what I get up to on here. Aside from this, with a few holidays planned, you’ll also see travel posts pop up a lot more.

& finally, as I’m trying to get healthy along side my fellow #FitnessBunniesUnite, healthy recipes, more fashion posts and hopefully part of my journey to feeling better about myself!

    I'm always scared to set blogging goals, because: a) I don't want to pressure myself and spoil something that is essentially a hobby; and b) I'm a little scared I won't reach them (if we're being honest, here…). I enjoyed reading yours because they aren't numbers based, i.e. to hit a certain number of followers etc. I guess if I had to set one goal, it would be to attend more events and meet new people, but I'm not quite sure how to improve on this!xx

    I was exactly the same over numbers!
    I don't want to say I want x followers on twitter or x views because I don't want to become bored with this as you said so I thought I'd focus on where I want to be rather than what I want to have.

    I love that goal! I think I'm the same, love meeting bloggers and new friends πŸ™‚ xx

    I love the new layout. I swear, the more years pass the LESS good at this coding stuff I get. I'm scared to make blogging goals because I hate to fail! However, I started this as a hobby so..how badly can it fail?! Happy New Year, fellow Fran ;}

    I'm exactly the same – I used to be a dab hand at the old style layout bits but blogger just makes me head spin!
    Hope you had a fab new year and a great Christmas Fran!!!

    I just hope the London ones are up to scratch!
    I didn't want to set number based goals other than post times because I think that might make it less fun! πŸ™‚ xx

    Looks great! Blog templates etc are a completely mind boggling to me (I'm a complete novice)! Things like this definitely get harder with age, growing older but definitely not wiser πŸ˜€ xx

    Thanks!
    I'm exactly the same, I thought I knew enough to edit my template but I just ended up with everything all over the place! xx

    I'll echo the comments above and say that it's lovely and refreshing to read what you're going to give us readers as opposed to 'I'm targetting 50 squillion followers this year'! Hoping that I can be part of some of these london escapades πŸ˜‰

    I didn't set any blogging goals for myself this year, it's just impossible and the one goal that I really want to achieve is to be less online and be more present. I hope to break my bad habit of always checking my social medias and blog related stuff and concentrate on my family instead.

    I'm definitely going to try and expand my blog further because I love blogging. And I'm going to do alot more with it than just reviewing things. I don't know what yet but perhaps more serious/fun posts.
