After seeing Ellie Goulding at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time festival last year, I’ve become a massive fan. Her vocals live were absolutely amazing and I adore her sense of style, so when I heard she was launching a collection with MAC with including various lip products, palettes and a blush, I knew I’d have to pick up at least one item from it. However, with it being December and buying gifts for Christmas I didn’t quite know if I’d be in time before it sold out. Thankfully, my brother had bought me some MAC vouchers for Christmas so I used those to treat myself to one of the two Cremesheen lipsticks, namely Without Your Love a warm seashell coloured pink.
While MAC’s Cremesheen lipsticks tend not to last as long as their Amplified, Matte and Satin finish counter parts, the formula as usual is smooth and feels gorgeous on. I teamed this with their Soar lipliner and can see this becoming a combination I use a lot as Spring approaches. As Without Your Love is part of a limited edition collection, it is a little more expensive than usual, retailing at £17.00. Would I pick up the other lipstick from the range (Only You)? As much as I love Ellie, probably not as I prefer something with a little more staying power. Although I would be interested to try the blush in I’ll Hold My Breath if it’s still in stock by next payday.
Have you tried any of the MAC x Ellie Goulding collection? What did you think?

I put it all in my basket the other day but never completed the transaction – I really am in two minds because of the cost although it looks so beautiful here and I think it's a gorgeous collection. It's such a pretty colour! Really cool packaging too xx

I really wanted to get something from the Ellie Goulding range, actually this lipstick in particular but was a bit iffy about it. I think I might hold off now though.
Good things I read this post!

I never go for LE Mac products, as the general consensus is that they're overrated! I probably wouldn't go for this, as I agree with you; I definitely opt for lipsticks with better staying power, which is why I usually go for their matte lipsticks!xx

This is actually my first limited edition item, minus getting a gift set last Christmas.
I can definitely see why they're seen as over rated, I heard so many disappointed reviews of the Cinderella collection (which made me feel a bit better I didn't get hold of any..
xx
It's definitely good for Spring, but personally if I was to pick again I'd try the blush! xx
I was the same when it came out and then I was like "no no no you have pressies to buy", I love the packaging and the colours are fab if a little more neutral than I'd normally pick 🙂 xx
not a few products that id be interested in picking up, great shade though. Pam xo/ Pam Scalfi♥
Looks like a gorgeous colour but I'm not sure on spending £17 on a lipstick!

I'm usually a fan of the more vampy colours MAC has to offer but you can't deny the staying power of MAC lippies – budge proof even after eating and drinking.
This looks like a lovely colour but probably better suited for paler skintones :-).
