Magnitone Barefaced Cleansing Brush || Skincare Saviours

Magnitone Barefaced Cleansing BrushAs I mentioned in a previous post one of my resolutions for 2016 was to take better care of my skin. It’s shameful how much I used to fall back on face wipes and “forget” to moisturise. So when I saw Magnitone’s range of Vibra-Sonic cleansing brushes which claim, with daily use, to deep-clean pores, tone and condition skin it’s safe to say I was intrigued. Although, with such a wide range of brushes and heads, I didn’t know what would work best for me or if it would work with my sometimes problematic skin at all. I’ve often found that exfoliation makes me dry skin more prone to break outs, so this was my main hold back in treating myself to one of Magnitone‘s range of brushes. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to be selected by Magnitone to try their Barefaced brush in pastel pink (obviously..) after a Twitter Party in December.

Magnitone Barefaced Cleansing BrushMid way through in January, this beautifully wrapped parcel arrived. In the box, aside from the Magnitone Barefaced itself, is a travel bag (perfect for making sure your skin isn’t neglected when you’re away from home), magnetic charger and “Magnitone Membership Card” which aside from serving as your warranty also allows you to order replacement brush heads online.

So, after a month of using my Barefaced brush I thought I’d share my thoughts. While I’m not quiet brave enough to go bare faced just yet, my skin has seen a massive improvement (minus one rather large break out when I came down with flu). My fears about having a similar effect to exfoliation were unfounded as rather than buffing off dry skin the brush just simply wobbles the dirt and impurities to the surface so they simply wipe away. Due to the dirt and grime that’s often left behind being removed, it means that your moisturiser sinks in link an absolute dream too. Another big perk for those of us who don’t feel we have time for adding anything to our skin care routine (although the brush does only take two minutes, beeps to let you know when to move area) the Barefaced is waterproof so you can use it in the shower to save time.

Magnitone’s Barefaced Cleansing Brush is available in a range of pastel colours (in case you’re not a big fan of pink) retails at £70 and is available to buy online. However, rumour has it (well an email this morning told me..) that if you head over to QVC today you may be able to pick up a Barefaced Cleansing Brush for just £40. Bargain!

Have you tried any of the Magnitone range before? What did you think?

I've been thinking of getting a facial cleansing brush for ages but never get around to it. Glad I'm not the only one to rely too heavily of facial cleansing wipes! 🙂
