Soap & Glory Hand Food “Sugar Crush” || Handbag Heroes

Soap & Glory Hand Food Sugar Crush Review
One of my New Years Resolutions was to take better care of my skin, in particular my hands which have taken a bit of a battering between the cold weather and my obsession with using hand cleansing gel (I blame spending so much time on the tube..). So when I was in Boots during their January sale and spotted the Soap & Glory Once Upon A Lime gift set reduced to half price I just couldn’t resist picking one up. Containing a “Sugar Crush” body wash, body scrub, body butter cream and hand cream all for the £5.00 price tag it was an absolute steal. While I’d tried the other products in the box from gift sets and Boots trips past, Hand Food hand cream was new to me.

Sugar Crush is the second addition to the Hand Food range, the original version being scented with the more floral Original Pink fragrance which can be found across other Soap & Glory products such as Clean On Me and The Righteous Butter. Hand Food is Boot’s bestselling hand cream and I can certainly see why. The sugar and lime scent is fresh and zesty and leaves hands feeling moisturised without that annoying greasy residue. Aside from being non-greasy, it’s also non sticky, despite the formula containing shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow (I’ve got a massive sweet-tooth, maybe this is why I love it so much?!). Unlike my normal Cath Kidston hand creams that I often avoid using when busy due to the time taken for the cream to sink in, the Soap & Glory version absorbs quickly and leaves me a-okay to use my phone, mouse, pen or whatever else pretty much straight away.

Although this may be a little sweet smelling for some peoples tastes, at £2.50 for 50ml, it’s ideal to pop in your handbag to use on the go. After a month of usage not only are my hands a lot softer than they were in early January but I still have plenty left making this an absolute bargain in my eyes.

Have you tried any of the Hand Food creams yet? If not, what are your favourite Soap & Glory products?
