Sometimes, an email pops into your inbox which instantly brings a smile to your face. In this case it was that two of my favourite brands, namely Chambord and Skinny Dip, had together with Buxom cosmetics come together to host a pamper evening at Cheeky Salon and Parlour. And I was invited. Cue an excited squeal and quickly popping the date in my diary.
So, without further delay, here’s what I got up to at Chambord’s Cheeky Pamper Night:
A “Cheeky” Pamper Night With Chambord
On arrival we were given a brief overview of the evenings plans. The team had come together to create a chilled, drop in style evening where you could have your hair, makeup and nails done while enjoying a Chambord cocktail (or two). Along with heading over for a few bits to eat and a look at the newly launched summer collection from SkinnyDip. Having the opportunity to check out the brands at your own leisure and mingle with a few bloggers in the process? The makings of a fabulous evening if you ask me!
Hair & Nails By Cheeky ft Makeup By Buxom
With a French Martini in hand, my first stop was to have my hair done. I’d been in a rush that morning and just shoved it in a top knot meaning it was a frizzy mess. But the lovely gentleman at Cheeky worked his magic and before I knew it he’d transformed my mane into bouncy curls. Absolutely magic. They were just so soft and well done that I couldn’t stop playing with them!
If only Cheeky’s branch was a little closer, I’d most likely be booking an appointment before every night out..
As I was feeling cheeky (and there was a free space), I also had my nails done. They turned out absolutely gorgeous and as one of my favourite colour combinations to date. The two shades of purple with gold glitter felt so regal. I loved it! Even more so when the makeup artist from Buxom showed me some beautiful plum and pink lipsticks to match my nails. I’d almost forgot how much I love plum coloured lipsticks.
SkinnyDip’s Summer Collection
Last but not least, SkinnyDip gave us the chance to have a sneak-peak at their now newly launched summer collection. I make no secret out of the fact I’m a huge fan of SkinnyDip so I mentally spent a fortune while I checked out all the accessories. I already fell in love with all the flamingos, bright colours and glitter. In fact, as soon as I saw it was online, I headed down to their Carnaby Street store and bought one of my favourite iPhone cases and a blending sponge for myself!
Thank you again to SkinnyDip, Cheeky, Buxom and of course Chambord for a wonderful evening. I left feeling well and truly spoiled!
