First Impressions || Cohorted Beauty Box with Thou Shalt Not Covet
I’d like to think of myself as a reformed beauty box addict. As much as it pained me to do, I’ve cancelled my GlossyBox and Birchbox subscriptions and try and ignore the temptation of limited edition boxes. However, when an email from Cohorted about the launch of two new beauty boxes dropped into my inbox, I couldn’t help but be a little curious. The White Edition subscription is all about fragrances and discovering new scents, while I love the idea, it’s not one for me. However, along side this launched a Black Edition beauty box with the first curated by one of my all time favourite bloggers, Michelle at Thou Shalt Not Covet, I just knew I had to place an order.

Let’s just say, I was not disappointed, and Michelle and Cohorted well and truly pulled this one out the bag. Along with a sample of Marc Jacob’s Dot perfume, the box contained;
MAC Satin Lipstick in Rebel (RRP – £15.50)
I love MAC lipsticks, and this is one that I hadn’t managed to get along with and my best friend kindly gave it a good home. However, now it’s winter I’m ready to give the cult purple another shot.
NARS Flat Concealer Brush (RRP – £24.00)
I find most concealer brushes to be a bit like Goldilocks & The Three Bears, some are too big, some are too small but this one is just right! The flat paddle brush is also pretty great at blending too, which in the end is the most important bit.
NARS Pure Sheer SPF Lip Treatment in Lana (RRP – £19.50)
Shameful blogger moment, but despite lusting after many, this is my first ever NARS lip products. To be honest, I wasn’t bowled over, the tint was minimal and it wasn’t up to the moisturising credentials of for example Burt’s Bees. However, much like with Rebel I feel this is one I need to come back to in another season, namely spring or summer.
Too Faced Blushing Bronzer in Ross & Rachael (RRP – £28.00)
This can only help make my current love affair with Too Faced worse, the bronzer brusher combo is both gorgeously packaged and buildable so it is suitable for us paler ladies, as well as anyone a bit more bronzed.

Have you tried any of Cohorted’s boxes before? What did you think?
